Abstract
Introduction : Undernutrition was a major nutritional problem in Thailand during the 19th century. Over the last 2 decades, the prevalence has decreased dramatically. During the same period, prevalence of overweight and obesity increased greatly, particularly in urban and Bangkok residences and among the better-off population, with overweight and obesity replacing undernutrition at the top of bench.
